in the loving gaze of

of holy hospitality
Creator of infinite space
inward yeses resound
as words wind winsome through the mind
drop a line deep into the fragile and shy

connect and connect and come round to
connect again
reaching into unplumbed depths of
self-knowledge and lostness and
adolescent questions that persist
even into old age because
in glory to glory reflection
in infinity of patience

never comes to an end
