This recording was created before going on tour in Fall of 2013. I wanted to try out some new songs on the road, and I wanted to have them available. So I recorded a simplified acoustic album to take along with me. Some of my favorite story-songs are on here, including “I Am The Captain”, “Baby Bird”, and some early versions of songs that have made their way to another album – “Weapons” and “Come Tell Your Story”. I had a lot of fun making this one! The whole thing was recorded and mixed in one week.
